This hilly course is enjoyable for all skill levels of golfer. The fairways vary in width, and the greens are large and fast. There are water hazards that come into play on four holes. The signature hole is #16, a 550-yard, par 5, with a dogleg left fairway.

Green Acres I consider my home course. I learned to play on this course and would recommend it as a forgiving but challenging tract. If you are playing and putting reasonably well this course can be shot below par although I've yet to do it. The management of this course is really top notch and friendly and over the years they have continued to improve and invest in this course.

If you like a somewhat challenging course with a hilly front nine and flat long backnine...then this course is for you. Great Rates for every day of the week. Nice area and nice people. An overall great course

Mountain Valley Golf Course - Maple/Oak Course

Course was originally 18 but 9 new holes were added in the last few years. The three nines, oak, pine, and maple are all challenging with tight tree lined fairways with generous sized greens with a fair bit of undulation. Huge elevation changes on some holes offer great views of the surrounding PA countryside. Although not the longest course, although some holes are quite long it is easily the most difficult in the region due to the tightness and difficult putting greens. The greens are always in great condition so the difficulty I have with putting is assuredly not the course, It's all mine. Great value too, and a friendly and helpful staff makes these three nine hole courses a must when in the area.

This course is great for the price. The greens keeper has done an excellent job. He keeps the greens fast, the fairways immaculate, and the rough is even starting to affect play. This course has a great layout. If your in the area this is the best course to play.
