This long and difficult course has fast greens and narrow fairways. There are seven lakes and a few small ponds that come into play on the course. Numerous sand bunkers protect the fairways and greens. The golf professional stated, "the course is challenging, absolutely deserving of its rating of a ten, it's very hard."

I played at Heidelberg several times and found the greens fast also, mostly due to lack of grass. Distance is good. Well placed sand and water. Not bad overall. It's not the best in Berks, Moselem Springs is the only 5 star around.

This private club is the best course around Berks County. Virtually two different courses when played from the back or middle tees. Out of bounds and water on 14 of the 18 holes, and trouble on the others. This is a well kept, difficult course that is not exceptionally long.

Rock Spring Club
"Enjoyable Round"
It is an average length course, but enjoyable. The fescue around the bunkers gives the course a nice look. There are some intersting holes such as one with a 2 tiered green right in front to make for a tough second shot from only around 60 yards. Some water but overall its fun and if you have the chance to play there do so.

Sunset Hill Golf Club
"Sunset is an awesome course!"
Sunset Hill is an awesome course. I play on a high school golf team, and its our practice course. But after season is over, we have to start paying to play golf again. The one thing that Sunset is good for is that it's cheap and reliable. I as a high school athelete, don't feel like paying 50 dollars to go play some course with a tee time that is just horrible. Sunset on the other hand has a low price thats friendly to the everyday golfer. So it might not be in the best shape, but its fun to play because there is no rush and its cheap to play. All in all, its an awesome course!
