Very enjoyable, Oct 06, 2004

For the money, best public golf course around. Fairly wide fairways and large greens. Most holes demand a well placed shot. The hilly terrain and several pedestal greens make club selection challenging. Good Pro Shop and Grill. Excellent staff.

This course is easy to play, Has just enough hassards to keep you on your toes but not enough to hinder your play. Take time to play this course an you want regret it.

This is a terrific course - challenging but fair. The setting and views are spectacular. Tucked in the La Quinta cove, wind is not a factor like in other desert courses. Condition is excellent.

Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Mountain/Lake Course
"A must play"
The best golf in the south bay. The course is in great shape year round. Bring your 'A' game or a lot of balls. A little $$$, but it's well worth it. Eagle and Coyote can't compete. It�s important to keep it straight here - 3 woods off the tee for the most part. Sacrifice distance in order to keep yourself in the fairway. It will save you at least half a dozen strokes.

Tierra del Sol Golf Club
"Played Tierra del Sol many times"
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.
