This is a very tight executive course. Though the terrain is relatively flat, there is some man-made mounding that can produce uneven lies. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on fourteen holes. Almost every green has some undulation, so putting can be tricky at times. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the7th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. Golfers are prohibited from walking this course between 9 AM and 2 PM. The yardage indicated is an estimate provided by the club personnel.

| This course is absolutely beautiful. I enjoy playing here for two reasons. This course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer, yet loads of fun for the weekend hacker. I’m a married man with two young children, so finding time to golf is like finding time to build new pyramids in Egypt. The Salt Pond became my answer. I arrive early, play 18, and return back to the family before they even realize I’m gone. It’s a great short course. I recommend it to anyone. |
