The yardage on this course is deceiving. The fairways and greens are narrow, well bunkered, and have all the fun hazards that make the game such an interesting challenge. The signature hole is #8, a 373-yard, par 4, which has a fairway that slopes severely from left to right with out-of-bounds completely down the right side. The well-bunkered green is protected by a large birch tree in front.

Short but tight, Jul 22, 2004 |

| There are several aspects that define this course. First, the second and third holes are par threes and kind of difficult. Second, the front and back nines are very different because there are several holes on the front where a well hit tee shot may not yield a favorable lie. The back is a bit more benign. Third, though the overall course yardage is short, the par 3s are long and difficult. Lastly, the greens are small and well protected with bunkers. It is a good test of all around golf when you play Kenwood. |

| It is a great course for all ages. It is in great condition. It is well bunkered. Almost every hole has been redone in the last 2-3 years. It has paid off great. |
