This course was built right next to the Cahaba River. The fairways are wide open and hilly, and the greens are large and undulating. There are several trees that can alter your shots. This course was redesigned by Denis Griffiths in 1989. A remodeling of fifteen holes was completed by John LaFoy in 1990.

| I have played this golf course several times with an Uncle who is a member. It has every challenge imaginable and you will likely use every club in your bag. Forgiving for the just missed shot but punishing for the poor shot. Greens read perfectly and putt true, just be familiar with Bent grass. Clubhouse and facilities are exceptional and I would recommend this course above all in Birmingham, even Greystone. |

| Very good but fair course with generous landing areas. If you like elevation changes, this is your course. The greens are large and fast with plenty of bunkers. Great experience. |
