Great Day of Golf at DeGray State Park, Nov 06, 2004

| Six of us traveled to Hot Springs for a golf getaway. We played 72 holes in two days and 36 were at DeGray State Park Golf Course. We all enjoyed the course. It was in excellent shape in spite of the recent heavy rains. The only thing we weren't ready for were the bermuda greens (We normally play bent grass) It took a little getting used to. The course has a lot of personality (Some holes you can hit it anywhere and others where you have to hit it straight). There's not alot of sand traps but plenty of beautiful pine trees and challenging greens. We had a great day of golf and for the money we spent we thought we got a real bargain. |
