Four separate tee boxes allow for all skill levels to play their own game. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 3rd "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 4th best in 1997-98.

Fun to play, Oct 15, 2004

Excellent design, very challenging especially from the black tees. Excellent placement of water hazards. Greens and general course condition not as good as they used to be.Disappointed that we could not get a drink in the clubhouse at 6:15 in the afternoon.

"Challenge"
The fairways here are nice, the greens protect the course and make it extraordinarily challenging. It doesn't play long but you have to be a good iron player to shoot anywhere in the 70's.

A golf course that Mike Barton did wonders with. It is fairly straight and short, but the greens are fantastic. Set in a beautiful location and has plenty of trees, hit it straight though because if you get into the rough you get into trouble because of the trees.

Walden Ponds Golf Club
"Golf Outing"
I played in two outings at Walden Ponds golf club in 2003 and I found that the attention to detail was outstanding in both instances. The staff was extremely helpful and the golf course was one of the finest conditioned courses that I played in 2003 including private clubs. I highly recommend that you experience this golf course.

"esty family"
golf course was started in the 30s.several local people of interst kept it going by volunteer work..in 1957 the membership fee was.$9.99. over ten there was a state tax.. beautiful views from most holes . of jay peak.. a challanging old 9 holer.. full bar.. no starting times.. small greens.. if ya break 80 your good.. excellent resturant.. you'll like it... busy on weekends..
