| BHCC is a true gem among Michigan golf courses. This course may just be the best maintained golf course in the state from spring to fall. While other courses in the area are under water in the spring, BHCC is relatively dry and in peak condition. The course presents a fair challenge to most golfers. Although relatively short, speedy, often deceiving greens keep players modest. A shot is rarely lost to unfair conditions such as hard pan, abundance of unrepaired divots, or "goofy golf" (poor design). Although BHCC is private, guests are allowed by member invitation. If the opportunity arises, I recommend taking it. BHCC is a pleasure to walk especially considering the experienced caddies available. Players can look forward to a round free from waiting at the tee (play is almost always sparse) and an overall rewarding experience. |
