This hilly course has an abundance of mature trees lining its fairways. The greens are flat, small, and medium speed. A creek flowing through the course comes into play on several holes. The facility only offers junior and senior discounts prior to 12:30 PM on weekdays and after 12:30 PM on weekends. Tee times are only reserved for weekends.

Nice affordable course, Aug 28, 2004

This course is the cheapest one in Bloomington Normal. Lots of hills and tons of trees with several narrow fairways. Be careful on your shots near the Highway, because its easy to get ahold of one and shoot it across. Slow play on the weekends, expect at least 2.5 hours for the front 9.

Highland is a course the needs accuracy more than distance. The large trees can cause you to become creative in your shot execution. Overall a fun day.

Wilshire Golf Club
"Good Challenge; Poor Conditions."
Wilshire is a challenge in disguise. With many decisions shots like weather to carry the creek on the first hole or whether or not to cut the corner off of the 17th. But the adverse course condidions can discourage most golfers that are looking for a challenge. Shabby fairways and greens give it a rough appearance but it is a good deal for the price.
