This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. All three courses play basically the same. They feature many water hazards, sand bunkers, and trees. The greens are medium-sized, and the contoured fairways afford generous landing areas. The signature hole on the Blue Lake Course is #1, a 419-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over a lake.

I have played the course many times over the years and find it to be my favorite in the area.The price is reasonable and is tough for a hacker like me but fair..

You can't beat the price of a round of golf anywhere! It's a great course! I really would think anybody would enjoy it, from a duffer to a pro.

Turquoise Valley Golf Course & RV Park
"Hidden Gem"
One of the best golf values I have seen. #1 hole is the worst hole on the course, with a ridiculous left to right sloping green that is impossible to hold. Make bogey here and you have a chance for a good round. After that, the architect did a good job of squeezing 8 holes into the available terrain. The real ambience of this course starts with #11, a long carry over a wash to a par 3. #10 is a drivable par 4 that could be improved a bit by narrowing the fairway to make it a bit more risky to go for the green. The rest of the back 9 is very well done, except for # 18, which is a pretty lame par 4. And then there is THE RATTLER, a very good par 6. Long hitters can get there in 3, setting up an eagle putt. But the 3rd is mostly carry over water. Overall one of the best courses I have played, especially for the money.

I've had the pleasure of playing this course many times and i never get sick of it. It is one of the most enjoyable lay-outs i have ever played. It is tough but fair and has a number of very memorable holes. Of particular note are numbers 7,10,11 and 12. Don't skip this one you won't be disappointed.

"Going in the right direction"
I played this course three years ago and was appalled at the conditions of the greens and fairways. The greens were "browned out concrete" and more than 5 balls were lost directly on the fairways, which were all molded out and diseased and generally in unkempt condition. Today the course is progressing nicely. Two years ago the town reassumed management responsibility. Each year since then the conditions have improved dramatically. Today the greens are in fantastic shape. The fairways for the most part are also in great shape with the exception of a few holes that still need to have the drainage corrected. The molds and diseased areas are almost non-existant. Balls no longer just disapear when hit right down the middle. There are actually two courses. The Black course is in the best shape and is the most technical of the two. The Red course is a longer course and rolls up and down and also is a pleasure to play. My biggest concern to date is that these two courses will be "rediscovered" and then be almost impossible to get playing time on once word gets out how much improved they really are.
