This course features narrow fairways and water hazards coming into play on at least five separate occasions. The greens are small, so shot accuracy is at a premium. The terrain is basically flat, and sand bunkers surround most of the greens. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round. Soft spikes are strongly encouraged but not mandatory.

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

Soboba Springs Royal Vista Golf Course
"oddly challenging"
This is one of the hidden gems in Southern California. I live in the Palm Springs area and yet I travel the sixty miles to play this course on a fairly regular basis. The low green fees tell the tale about the course condition. It is not the awesomely green, delicately manicured track you get here in the desert, but the natural beauty and interesting design make it much more fun than the bulldozed beasts you see around here. Playing from the black tees will give the vast majority of players all the challenge they will want. You'll use about every club in your bag and scratch your head when you bogey that hole that looks so easy to birdie. If you ever travel to the Hemet area, give this course a go, you won't regret it.

Knollwood Golf Course
"Fun course"
I had an really enjoyable time at Knollwood. Challenged from the first tee to the last green. If you can time it right the view at sunset from the 18th tee is spectacular.

Players Club, The
"Fair and enjoyable"
The Players Club is a wonderful course that requires consistency and patience. The layout is not overly diffucult, yet there are holes that can come up and bite you if you are not careful as to where you place your ball. This course will reward the consistent ball striker. There is a great variety of holes at the Players Club, which will keep the golfer coming back for more and keep him from getting bored with the same types of holes. A great course!!
