This mountainous area has three different nine hole courses that can be played in three eighteen hole combinations. All of the fairways are tree lined, and water hazards come into play on several holes. The fast greens are extremely undulating and difficult to read. The signature hole is #3 on the Black/Garnet Course, a 451-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot off the highest point on the course. The dogleg right fairway features a left-side sand bunker with a claw, similar to the emblem representing the University of South Carolina. If your ball lands in the claw, you receive a free drop.

USC - has to be top notch, Apr 23, 2005

|This course is beautiful and a must for all Gamecock fans. The staff could be more attentive and some minor work needs to be done on the golf course restrooms. However, it's a real nature lover's course.|
