This long and hilly course has very large greens. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 8th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. Parts of this course are heavily wooded, so be ready to use every club in your bag. Water hazards come into play throughout the design, such as on hole #16, a 229-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a lake and onto a green protected by a sand bunker in front.

Sunflower is inexpensive, long, has some decent holes and is in average to above average shape. Its not usually crowded so its easy to play. OUr twosome has played 18 in 3 hours many times. Id rather golf there then some high dollar place thats crowded.

You don't want to play at Sun.. Hills. Maybe in two years when they clear up the fairways and learn how to mow grass. Other than that, stay away. Oh, and the beer is really expensive.

North Bellingham Golf Course
"Totally worth it!"
For the price they ask, it's totally worth it! It's a great course! There may not be that many trees, but I noticed a few projects that looked like they were working on it, and there is still plenty of beauty surrounding it. Water hazards made it challenging, but all the more fun. Very well kept! The maintenance crew must work hard!

Meadow Woods Golf Club
"Meadow Woods"
Meadow Woods is a nice course, althought not the best I have ever played on. The fairways are narrow due to the fact that it is located in a small neighborhood. The Par 4 13th should be pretty much played as a par 5 unless you can hit the long ball really well, or like to loose some balls. The fairways were also pretty dry as was the rest of the course. Fast greens make even the easy puts challenging.

My husband and I found this wonderful little course by accident! Most holes are par 3 and Roundlake Golf is nestled in the pine trees about 15 minutes from Klamath Falls. The people who work in the pro-shop are wonderful!

"old to new"
the old westwood country club is no more. as wonderful as the old course established in 1927) was the new course and grounds ( now westwood golf club) are superb. modern grasses and irrigation... cleaned and all made up for a great round of golf.
