This course, built on rolling terrain, features tree-lined fairways and well-bunkered greens. In addition, water hazards come into play on a few holes. The wind is often a factor, so selecting the proper club becomes an important part of the game. Out-of-bounds stakes line every hole, so shot accuracy is essential. The signature hole is #7, a 569-yard, par 5, featuring a water hazard coming into play. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men. There is an additional set of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Sandpiper Golf & Country Club
"Nice change of pace"
This course is a nice change of pace. I have played it every year for the last 5 years for a total of about 15 rounds. The water was way down for a few years and when it was the course was not very nice to look at. Greens are small and challenging. The course is fun to play and reasonably tough. Having a sand trap in the middle of a green is flat out stupid. That hole (# 15) is definately my least favorite hole. The par five # 14 along the road seems to always be in bad shape. Outside of holes #4 , #14 and #15 I like the course .

This course is challenging and the staff is caring and great to be around. Front nine and back differ greatly. The front requires long drives and a good short game while the back is more target golf. Great diverse course for the whole family.

Sunnybrook Country Club
"Trouble in all the right places"
Sunnybrook is a 45 year old course designed by Bruce Matthews. It is a joy to play and in excellent condition. A map of it may look pretty straight forward, but there is trouble in places you simply have to play around. Grass is in great shape and well cared for. The premium is on hitting a straight ball and knowing your club selection.
