| I have been an Associate member for 16 years. I drive 15 miles from Long Boat Key to play this course three times every week. It keeps my game in shape for when I get back to Michigan in the summers. This course is the best value around for the entire west coast of Florida. |

Socially the Best, Mar 26, 2004 |

| I enjoy the River Isles Golf Course because of all the social activities going on each week. On Tuesday the men have a league and compete for prizes based on a handicap system. The ladies have the course on Thursday mornings and do the same thing. On Saturday they have a mixed league and lots of friends get together to enjoy the fun of competition on the course. Refreshments are always part of the leagues which provides time to visit with all the other golfers. Several times a year they have tournaments for all to join and with your handicap you can play with the best golfer and have a chance to win. The monthly fee of $35 for unlimited golf will not last forever so I would encourage you to give it a try. |

Just plain nice!, Mar 26, 2004 |

| Followed a golf cart down a street and after a few turns saw a golf course I would have never expected. Asked if I could play, They said it is a private course, however if I would like to join a foursome it would be okay. Four a mere $11 to play 18, I had the best time. It is a great course to hone your chipping and putting skills. A few nice par 4's on narrow fairways would challenge the most accomplished golfer I am a 5 handicap on a regulation course and had all I could do to catch the other 3 I played with. Good time , nice people. Hope to get to Bradenton again to meet my new friends. |

Short But Sweet, Mar 13, 2004 |

| Although River Isles Golf Course is only 1600 yards long, it's a challenge for all levels of golfers. The low handicapper has to be accurate with irons into the small greens. The high handicapper or novice golfer doesn't need to worry about sand traps and big water hazards. There are enough challenges (trees/ponds) to keep you interested. Speed of play is generally good and the "no tee time required" rule makes it a pleasure to golf at your convenience. |

Keeps My Golf Game Tuned, Feb 23, 2004 |

| River Isles is a short course but it is enjoyable to play. The course is well maintained. Greens are excellent. I like to play it because it does not take all day to play it. That gives me more time to do something else and my wife likes that too. I always play 18 and when I finish the first nine, I get cuts at the first tee so I can continue with my second nine. I can play the 18 holes in about 2 hours and 30 minutes. It's a tight course and the holes are interesting. Lots of trees to add Character to the course. Some water that can come into play if you let it. If you play it once, you'll come back. |
