This traditional course has narrow fairways that are heavily wooded and small greens. The hills, blind shots and sloping greens make it a challenge for any skill level. Your round begins with a 205-yard, par 3, which plays slightly downhill. If your tee shot is straight then the club's entrance road that runs along the entire right side of the hole and the two sets of fairway bunkers will not come into play. William F. Mitchell redesigned the course in 1948. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

Very good 18 hole track!, Dec 15, 2005 |

| This course just keeps getting better. The course expansion has given Southern Vermont one of it's better 18 hole courses. A challenge for all skill levels. With it's outstanding maintenance crew, this course improves year to year. Phil Rollins has done a wonderful job maintaining and grooming this course, making it a pleasure to play, for it's members as well as it's guests. |

| The course is now an 18 hole course. The changes to the old nine, as well as the additional holes, makes this one of Vermont's finest golf courses. |
