This course was built in the mountains and is very secluded and far away from any unnatural distractions. Wild flowers and man-made ponds are found throughout the course. Wildlife such as turkey, deer, quail, and rabbits roam these parts. The greens average 5,000 square feet and are very easy to read and the fairways are rolling. The front nine is fairly open and the back nine has some tight fairways. Try to stay on the fairways as much as possible because the rough is very rough. The course was laid out to be challenging, so expect some bogies. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the course.

White Hawk Country Club
"Better than others around"
I have golfed at White Hawk for the past three summers and have found it to be a challenging three courses. With black being the hardest it is to the difficult level of a 5-10 handicap player. On average I should in the high 70's and find some days more challenging then others depending on pin placement. But if you are a golf with great accuracy then this course will be almost no match for you. For if you are able to stay in the farways even par is something insight. The course itself is taken care of very nicely and almost all of the employees are friendly. Overall it is my favorite course in the area.

Beaver Brook Golf & Country Club
"The brook"
Beaver Brook is a nice course that was developed in the 50's. Because of that, it is not the longest course, and it is more technical than some of the more modern, open designs. The fairways are narrow and hilly with a lot of blind approach shots, and the greens are small. From the Blue it is about 6000 yards, but plays longer because of some of the second shot angles and elevated greens. If you keep it in the fairway, you can score. If you don't, it will be a long round.
