This well-maintained course is easy to walk. The terrain is flat, and the fairways are open. Since there are no water hazards and only few other types of hazards, beginners and seniors will enjoy playing here. Be ready to take out your driver on hole #1, a 489-yard, par 5, which plays straightaway to a green surrounded by five bunkers.

Nice outing for the price. Need rakes for bunkers, though., Oct 05, 2009
reviewer: Joe B. from New York, NY
Played this course at 4:50PM on an early October Thursday afternoon and got all 18 holes in (although the last three were played in the dark). Flat course. Greens were not cut very short and were quite slow. Lots and lots of bunkers. There was not a single rake located on any of the bunkers, so many bunkers were choppy -- not sure why the course can't invest in some rakes. Course was cheap though (twilight rates -- $15 for 9 holes, $20 as many as you can get in) and the staff was friendly. Course itself would get two stars, but the reasonable price brings it up to 3 stars from me.

Not Bad for the Buck, Jun 09, 2004
reviewer: Paul from Islip, NY
Brentwood CC is a well-maintained, minimally challenging golf course. No water, but some of the holes have narrow, tree-lined fairways. Average golfers can expect to shoot their best score here. Don't travel far for it, but if you're nearby, it's a decent option.
