This executive eighteen hole course has a heavily wooded front nine, and a wide open back nine. The course was rated as one of the top ten courses in the state by "Golf Digest" in 1992. Each hole is unique and requires shot accuracy for low scores. There are no sand bunkers on the course, but the water hazards come into play on eight holes.

| I played for the first time on May 23 and the course was beautiful, particularly the front 9. There is water, but it doesn't much come in play. The trees and wildflowers make it a most enjoyable course. Holes vary from about 100 to 175 (you can stretch that to 250 on #11 with the alternate tee). With no one in front of me it took 1 hr 45 min to walk 18, and that was playing 2 balls. There is no sand, and most of the greens are in good shape (#10 needs some help at present, as it is pocked and weedy). I highly recommend this for a short interlude in the mountains between Caesar's Head and Brevard. |
