| Hickory Heights is an ok course to play, but it is NOT for beginners.
The course is fairly hilly and if you slice or hook heavily by chance, you will most likely lose your ball.
The par 3 holes are by far the most difficult I have played.
I had to tack on an extra 10 strokes due to lost balls alone.
Also, our cart harldy had brakes on it.
When I get better, I will consider playing again, but they need to bring the price down. |

| Hickory Heights has a beautiful layout and also has potential to be a great course. Unfortunately it is priced as if it already is a geat course which takes away from th ecourse rating. Although the course is manicured well it is not well maintained, primarily the par 3's need the most work. Tee boxes are at times shotty looking, rivaling some grass tees you would see at most driving ranges. Overall Hickory Heights is a good course that I would play often, but there are much better courses in the south hills area that are better maintained and more reasonably priced for the condition in which they are maintained. |
