This course has flat fairways and fast greens. Hole #7 has a pond in front of the tee and a stone wall in front of the green. There are water hazards coming into play on four holes. David Gordon redesigned the course in the 1950's, and Hal Purdy redesigned nine holes in 1968.

A great afternoon of golf., Jul 16, 2004

Though I am not a member of this club, I have had the pleasure to play it three times. I am looking forward to my fourth time soon. It is a great old course modernized and updated. Wonderful for amatures.

"It's Fun"
The course is OK. I've played it about 10 times and they need to get the front 9 in. If they got the front 9 in I think it would me a lot more fun.

Hilltop Golf Course
"TOUGH GREENS"
I live in the neighborhood so, I've played it many times. Very nice course. Be in shape if you're gonna walk it, though, it isn't called Hilltop for nuthin! Competitive rates, great conditon. These greens are TUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUFF. They're fun though, as is the whole course. Lotta trees lining the fairways, so you gotta keep it straight. Not a lot of water comes into play, just a few holes.

"Well Maintained"
This heavily-used public course is in very good condition all year thanks to a dedicated grounds crew. Good drainage makes it playable in the winter, too.

Rancho Sierra Golf Club
"New golf course that is fun to play"
Good condition, straight forward and fun to play. Plays shorter than the yardage and the ball tends to feed towards the fairways. Greens are very nice. It is an enjoyable experience and a pretty place to play. I recommend it to anyone heading to California's Antelope Valley.
