This course's greens are small, in excellent shape, and putt true. Water hazards (eleven ponds) come into play on at least eight holes. The fairways are narrow and tree lined. This is a great course for the average player. The ladies' tee does not have a slope or course rating.

| This course has a few well designed and interesting and challenging holes, but with the exception of 7, 12, 13, 17, and 18, it is very straight foreward and somewhat boring. Gets very very hard and dry in the summer. Also only a par 68, I believe, short course, but costs the same as most full size courses. My biggest complaint, however, is the play of the golfers that seem to play this course. I have played here 10 or 12 times the last few years as it is within 5 minutes of my home, but almost every time I play the course, I run into extremely slow play, or incredibly inconsiderate golfers. One example is a fivesome that myself and my playing partner ( a twosome) got stuck behind for the last 5 holes. They refused to let us play through and when I asked them at one point to please let us by, I was met with the following response, " I know the owner of this course, we play here every week, if we wanted to play in a group of 10, we would not let you play through". This is the kind of attitude I meet every time I play here. Really takes away from the golfing experience. |

| For the low cost to play a round here, this is an excellent course. It gets a lot of play, but much effort is taken to maintain a solid course. Certainly a highlight of the area. |
