This links-style course was built alongside the Atlantic Ocean, so the wind can sometimes be a major factor. Water hazards come into play on sixteen holes. The signature hole is #15, a 175-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a lake to an undulating green. Garrett Gill and George B. Williams redesigned this course in the early 1990's. There are early bird and twilight rates available for out-of-town visitors; please contact the pro shop for more information.

Last reviewer is an applehead, except for the bugs. Excellent facility. Fast, well kept greens. Terrific Scottish style links. Bring Off for the bugs and enjoy a good, but pricey, round of golf.

Conveniently located in Brigantine, NJ. Minutes from Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Expressway. Well kept and the most reasonably priced course at the shore. 6500+ yards from the back tees. Flat with plenty of water and tall grass. DONT forget the bug spray. Boring clubhouse and small pro shop.

Bass Rocks Golf Club

Bass Rocks in my opinion is an ideal kind of golf course. Every time you play is different. The winds off the ocean can be a help at times. However, other times it can play havoc with your game. The course forces you to play almost every kind of shot there is. From high flops to knock downs, it will test your game. The staff is second to none. Friendly and always willing to offer a tip or two that will help make your round more enjoyable. The members make you feel right at home. Like they have known you for years, even if you just met. In my personal opinion, every town should have a club like Bass Rocks.
