This course's fairways vary in width and the thickness of its tree lines. The greens are undulating, and two of them are double-tiered. There are fairway and green side bunkers coming into play throughout the course. The signature hole is #13, a 415-yard, par 4, with a slight dogleg right fairway, and requiring an approach shot to an elevated, double-tiered green that has one large oak tree guarding the right and two bunkers protecting the left. The sports editor of the "Boston Globe" claims that hole #13 is one of the eighteen toughest public holes in the state.

| The course is in OK shape and plays well most days. I play there at least twice a week to iron out my game. However, when I want to play a good round of golf, I go elsewhere. If you have 5 hours to kill and can't get a tee time elsewhere go there, too many people that can't hit the ball gather there and slow thing down for those that can. There are no marshal on the course and you need to keep an eye for flying balls. If you want to instruct a newbie, then this is the place for you as no one will tell you to move it along and you could take as much time as you like. Best time to play are early in the morning any day, you will be pair up with the old timer who could play golf really well and are fun to be around. Avoid late afternoon as you will run into people who think they could play from the blue and can't reach the green from 120 yards with a seven Iron. The best thing about this course is the price. The dress code was changed, now how about enforcing pace of play. |

| A nice mellow course that helps to sharpen your accuracy skills. Hit the ball fat and you'll pay. Best advice is to never over power your swing. |
