This course was built on rolling terrain and has several mature trees that can alter your shots. Some of the greens are elevated, while others are fairly flat but difficult to read. The most difficult hole on the course is #2, a 340-yard, par 4, featuring a sand bunker to the left of the green, which is not visible from off the tee box.

i golf at this golf course all the time. i think the place looks fabulous, better then the last five years. The green look incredible. The superintendent Bryan does a great job working on the golf coarse. i think the place looks great considering there isnt much of a crew. the greens are very difficult but can be read well and are very well maintained.

"A beautiful midwest course worth playing"
This course looks timid on paper but watch out on the front nine. A couple of par 5's can really fool you by their degree of difficulty and a snowman is not uncommon on #6. The course is usually in immaculate shape with more hills on the back 9 that you would expect. The shortest par 3 I've ever played, #16 can be tricky even with the softest loft wedge. Overall this coursees beauty is in the top 10 in northwest ohio, and it is great fun to play given that you can find a member to take you out and enjoy it.

"It's Okay"
This course is okay as far a playability goes. When I went there were dead spots of grass in the fairways and the greens, however we were in the middle of a drought during this time. For a small town golf course, it is pretty good.

Newnan Country Club
"Tough Layout"
Beautiful layout with a lot of elevation changes and fast, undulating greens. The course also winds through a lot of trees, mostly pines and oaks. First six holes are a real challenge. If you can survive these opening holes with a score that's just a few strokes over par, you may be able to recover by the end. The 15th hole is a monster from back tees, measuring almost 650 yards. Overall, bring every club in your bag.
