Most fairways meander their way through sand hills and pine trees, but you don't have to worry about encountering sand bunkers or water hazards while you play. Everything about this course's design, with the exception of the fairways and greens, have been left in their natural state.

Chief at Sky Lodge Golf Course, The
"Bring it on!"
The Chief is perhaps the most challenging course I have played in northern Michigan. While it is a toughy, especially from the tips, it brings out a carnal instinct in me to play it again because I know that with my new knowledge I can improve my score. The course was in great shape with its bent tees, greens and fairways nicely manicured. The pro indicated that they just lowered the length of the rough, which made a great improvement. Service was also great in the shop. Leave your driver at home and have some fun.

Unicorn GC in Stoneham MA, is a quality course for the weekend golfer as well as Low Handicapper. Rolling fairways and some hills provides the best blend of fun and challenge to all levels of golfers. I would highly recommend a day at Unicorn.
