Omni Interlocken Golf Club - Eldorado/Sunshine Course

This club, built on the side of a butte, has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. Deep ravines, formidable native rough and more than 400 feet of elevation change combine to make these courses quite challenging. The multiple tees also enable the golfer to play to their individual skill level. The Eldorado Course features rolling fairways, while the Sunshine and Vista courses have more mountainous terrain. The greens on all three courses are extremely undulating and can be difficult to read. The signature hole is found on the Vista Course. Hole #4, a 565-yard, par 5, is the highest point on the course, providing panoramic views of the Continental Divide. Playing uphill and into the wind, this hole requires a blind approach shot over a massive sand bunker protecting the green. An abundance of wildlife, including fox, coyote and deer, are commonly seen roaming the course.

Well maintained, tough rough, Aug 01, 2004

Played at the Omni for the first time and was impressed by the conditions and the challenging holes. Stay out of the rough, because it will greatly reduce any distance out.

Whispering Oaks Golf & Country Club
"OUTSTANDING VALUE"
Played it many times. Expansive layout, well manicured, nice greens. A little dry at times, but thats the neighborhood. Recent updates such as massive waste-bunkers installed in various locations make it attractive, looks expensive. A very fun course to play. Better than 2 or 3 other courses in the area. Water holes are a challenge and beautifully presented. But don't tell anybody, I like the course to myself. Going back Feb 3rd to the 13th 2004.

Luck Golf Course
"Luck Golf Course in Luck, Wisconsin"
The Luck Golf Course is a well established, beautiful course with bent grass fairways surrounded by large mature oaks. It is one of the best courses in the area. The course is challaging yet very rewarding for all levels of golfers. Located in the Village of Luck next to beautiful Butternut Lake, it is "in town" but off on its own in a lovely park like setting. Don't be surprised to see deer running accross the fairway during an approach shot. I found it to be the best around, one that you will love to come back to time after time.
