Overall pleasure to play., Mar 27, 2004

Wile vacationing last summer on the coast of Maine, I was lucky enough to play this fine course. The conditions were immaculate; the greens rolled true, the fairways were striped out, and the rough was just high enough to cause some problems. The entire staff was very knowlegable, and friendly. My "home" course is Torrey Pines, and while Brunswick may not have the ocean vistas, or daunting length, I rank it as one of my favorite courses to play.

"Real Golf"
This is a true golf course. Accuracy and distance is at a premium. There are no easy holes and you cant "run it up" to any of the greens. It is also a fair course. The greens neef to be a little faster and the traps need more sand but the layout is as good as anywhere in town...public or private.
