You should have told us!, Apr 06, 2010

I just played Buena, today, 4/6/10. I called Sunday for a Tuesday tee time. I was told there was a women's league going off at 9 AM so I took a 8:42 time, Great! Upon arrival, we were told we could tee off right away, fine with me. What they never told us was they were aerating the back nine. When we got to #12 the ranger told us there was a temporary hole (on the Fairway) and have fun putting the rest of the holes. They had been aerated. No one told us at the Pro Shop, very poor PR. If we had known we would have played at Pinelands, owned by the same group. The ironic part is this, our home course was being aerated, they posted it last week!

One of the best courses in South Jersey. Fine proshop attendants. Well maintained and landscaped. Nice selection of holes including one of the longest fairways sand hazards I have seen on the back nine. Carolina style with moderately wide fairways. Very nice facilities and inexpensive, especially for this fine of a course. I have played a few rounds and plan on coming back.

For the price - BV is fabulous. Create layout for a Jersey pine woods course. Conditions were great in Early June and mid- July. We plan to play 36 next month. Price can't be beat.
