This Scottish links-style course was built on rolling terrain. The fairways are open, and the greens are fast and undulating. There are ponds that come into play on six holes. In 1993, "Golf Digest" rated this as "The Best New Private Course in the Country," and it was also rated as the 3rd "Best in State" course from 1995 through 1998. The green fees shown are for reciprocal guests outside a 100-mile radius of the course. The tees shown are considered to be unisex tees by this club.

| There are other Greater Cincinnati courses located in less convenient locations, but not may of them. Once on the course golfers will find the layout and hole design to be completely forgettable. The greenskeeper seems to try to tend the course, but with regular players finding it unfashionable to repair pitch marks or replace divots, there is plenty to do. Coloration of the pins makes them tough to see, posted yardage does not seem to be accurate, bunkers are located for their decorative effect only and the greens do not require much reading. I agree with those who think this course almost unwalkable, since holes are often placed so far from each other, and with only cart paths as visual cues to the location of the next tee. I fail to see the golfing traditions this course to bring forth. Playing a ho-hum course in the sticks while riding a cart is--to this golfer--no player's idea of traditional golf. |

| not a walker friendly golf course however it has lush grass in the fairways and on the greens. it has potential for a championship layout if the rough is grown up and the greens fast. never played it with the wind high, and when its not, it is an easy, straightforward golf course. |
