This club has three scenic nine hole courses overlooking the Skagit Valley that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The signature hole on the South/North Course is #2, a 384-yard, par 4. The North Course has water hazards (three ponds) coming into play on five holes. This course is also the longest course. The West Course is the shortest of the three courses. There is one pond that comes into play on two holes. The South Course has no water hazards, but it is still considered the most difficult because of the narrow fairways and numerous sand bunkers. It was the North/South combination that was used for the U.S. Open qualifier. There is a separate eighteen hole green fee rate for Fridays.

| This Golf Course Is Very Nice Not Too Expensive Very Nice People. They Even Have Rent-A-Caddies, A Tee Time Is A Must And This Is Not A beginner Course.I Had A Very Good Time, The Water Hazard's Are All Over The Place So Accuracy Is A Must, Green's Are Fast, And Fairway's Are Narrow A Must See Golf Course. |

| Among the "newer" Washington courses (those built over the past 15-20 years), Avalon is one of my personal favorites. Course never seems busy. Play all day option is awesome. I love the course, the staff is friendly and the food is good. And my cart always has GPS! |

I paid for 18 holes and they let me play 72 holes, Feb 06, 2005 |

| My buddies and I play golf every summer solstice at Avalon. Avalon allows its guests to play all day for the price of 18 holes throughout the year. My group loves to walk, so for a $35.00 green fee we show up at 7:00a.m. and 72 holes later we finish at 9:00p.m. With 27 holes you have a great variety of challenges to enjoy throughout the day, also, Avalon's reputation for having some of the best greens in Washington State, private or public, remains in tact. These greens are smooth, true, and fast. The lunch may not be free at Avalon but the golf value for the golf nut is unmatched. We will be back and back and back and... |

no free lunch, Jun 12, 2004 |

| I played here using a free pass from Puetz having laid out $300 for a new driver and receiving one free round for spending more than $100. I paid $19.00 for a cart and they charged me 5.00 for a GPS fee, only there was no GPS on my cart. Otherwise the track is nice enough, the greens well kept and fast, the staff friendly but the marshall needs to make the rounds. Play this day got unbearably slow with the group in front of us leaving sometimes a hole and a half in front of them and no clue about golf etiquette. It's the little things that irk a guy. |
