This scenic course was established in 1920. The course offers a gorgeous view of Brown Lake. There are many mature maple trees lining the fairways. The Fox River flows through the course and comes into play several times. The greens are small, and well protected by water hazards and sand bunkers. Overall, water hazards come into play on five holes, and out-of-bounds stakes line nine holes, so shot accuracy is essential. The 6,449-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.8 and a slope of 132. The 5,756-yard ladies' also has a men's course rating of 68.3 and a slope of 119.

| Nice back 9, pretty landscape and for the novice golfer like me, it's a very doable course! |

| The only thing that I do not like about this course is the first four holes are really close together and you hear "fore" quite a bit. Other than that, the greens are really small, but nice greens, make it a test to hit in regulation. Tree lined holes makes it necessary to be in the middle off of the tee. There are a few blind shots to make and bring your skeeter repellant due to the river. There is a nice par 3 on the back nine over the river and hole number 16 is a tough green to hit as it is elevated a fair amount. Remember that small greens means shorter putts:) |
