This fairly wide open course was built on flat terrain and features treacherous sand bunkers coming into play throughout its design. The greens are slightly sloped and medium speed. Water hazards come into play on three holes. The signature hole is #18, a 451-yard, par 4, requiring shots over two lakes in order to reach its large green. Ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.

| This course is well maintained and features tee to green irrigation. It is a challenging course for any player. It is the only course I will play at! Rates are reasonable and workers are friendly. Lake Arthur also has a Pro Shop, Bar, and Grill Room in the clubhouse. The golf course offers a banquet hall accommodating 200 people, complete with an in-house catering service. It is a perfect place to hold a golf outing, class reunions, wedding receptions, or Christmas parties. Try it out, you won't be disappointed! |

| This is a very nice course, quite challenging and very well maintained! But the greens fee is what's confusing. My first time there, I requested an 18-hole greens fee. After being told how much I owed, I had to ask if that was for 9 or 18!. Very reasonable fees! |

Walkable Course, Dec 17, 2004 |

| Wonderful walking course, but you can ride nice electric carts. Water comes into play on 6 holes (not 3 or 4). Challenging, as you must play precise shots to stay out of the rough and Out of Bounds. I play this course every week and contrary to the review, women have there own tees. Make your tee times now and talk to some of the nicest people you will ever meet. |
