Brunswick Plantation & Golf Links - Dogwood/Azalea Course

This facility offer three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The Magnolia Course is reminiscent of the links of Scotland, where golf first originated. Extensive mounding, along with large sand and grass bunkers, present the challenge of this nine. The Azalea Course is carved from the thick Carolina woodlands, offering a beautiful and serene setting. Water is the dominant theme on many of these holes, requiring thought and strategy on every shot. The Dogwood Course meanders along the historic Caw Caw Run among dense hardwood trees. Hole #6 is highlighted by a picturesque island green. The Dogwood Course combines the beauty of the South with the challenge of a great golf course.

| This 27 hole course near the NC/SC state line @ Calabash has really done a nice job in it's recent up-grade. All 27 greens have been re-built and now sport Champion Bermuda putting surfaces---they are very good. They added new tees and much landscapeing, as well as plantating 1000's of trees and plants---the place looks good, and the course is a pleasent place to play------it is a challenging course. I would gladly play it again! |
