This course is located in a farming community and reopened in June, 1998, after twenty years of sitting dormant. The new owners, consisting of eleven partners, have redesigned this course and consider it to be one of the best in the area. The front nine holes have wide and forgiving fairways that leave a golfer with a bit of room off the tees. The back nine, however, is very tight and requires precise shots. Hole #17 is the signature hole. This long par 5 shoots off an elevated tee over a large lake. The green is very heavily bunkered and requires a good approach. Various discounts come into effect depending on season. For more information, contact the pro shop.

| If you can't hit straight it is going to be a long day!! Love the challenge here. Have played here a number of times this year including in an outing. The one downside for me is that the clubhouse staff hasn't been very friendly any of the times I've been here. |

Nice course for relaxing round, Oct 06, 2004 |

| This is a very nice course. It's a bit out of the way, so tee times are usually easy to get. There are various degrees of difficulty, especially on the back nine, where the last few holes criss-cross a lake. There is no driving range, but there is a nice practice green. The pro shop doesn't have a great selection, and refreshments are very limited. But don't let that keep you from checking out this enjoyable course surrounded by quiet farmland. |

Very nice course, out in the, Jul 22, 2004 |

| I enjoyed playing this course, although it was probably more difficult than I expected. Many of the fairways are quite narrow with thick woods, so there is less room for error. The fairways and greens were in good condition. However, don't expect much from the clubhouse for food, except for some snacks (usually fine for me). I recommend going out of your way to play here. |

| WHAT A JOY TO COME TO AN OUT OF THE WAY PLACE, GET GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE, NO PROBLEM GETTIN ON, CLEAN CARTS, AND AN ABSOLUTE GEM OF A GOLF COURSE. FRONT 9 IS QUITE A HILLY CHALLENGE(#4 PAR 3 IS A BEAR), BUT ROOM FOR MISTAKES. BACK NINE REALLY SEPERATES THE MEN FROM THE BOYS, ESPECIALLY THE SHOTS OVER THE LAKES. GREENS FEES ARE VERY REASONABLE DURING THE WEEK AND FOOD/BEVERAGE PRICES ARE TOO. IT'S WELL WORTH THE DRIVE AND I HAVE FRIENDS FROM OHIO WHO DON'T MIND MAKING THE TRIP. GIVE IT A TRY DURING THE WEEK AND YOU WILL BECOME A REGULAR. |

Favorite course in N. KY, Apr 05, 2004 |

| I have played this course many times in the past two years and I love to come back. From the front tees it is a friendly course for the average golfer but gets significantly more difficult moving back on the tees. The setting is wonderful and the course has never been crowded. If you want a round of golf "away from the madding crowd" this is the spot!! Good value too..........oh and by the way the Metwurst are outstanding!!! |

| Hickory Stix is a truly beautiful course. I live 5 min. away from the course and have gotten to play it many times. I love Hickory Stix because it is nestled in the country so it's a nice course to escape to and play a quiet round. It is constantly kept in excellant condition and has 18 beutiful holes to offer. Greens fees need to come down a little bit though. |

| Hickory Sticks is an unearthed gem. The condition of the course is near perfect. Because of the location (hidden but only 15 min. from I-275) makes this a logical place to play a quick undisturbed round. |
