Nice for the city, Jun 29, 2006

Nice course for the price and location. A little on the easy side. Go with your buddies to mess around. If youre looking for challenging golf this is not the place.

Wonderful Course, Aug 03, 2004

Every facet of the course is in reasonably great shape. Nice blend of elevation changes to flat holes. Average difficulty, a thoroughly enjoyable course, with some great scenery.

A beautiful course in early spring. It's possible to hit a tree on 4 consecutive shots.

Fresh Pond gets better every year, Jun 29, 2004
reviewer: Peter Hamn from Cambridge, MA
I have been playing at Fresh Pond for years and I have never seen the course look so good. For only $18 you can play 9 holes of golf (what a deal). Greens are cut everyday. fairways and rough are cut every other day

Good municipal course, Jun 24, 2004
reviewer: Virag Gogi Gupta from Boston, MA
One of the more fun municipal courses around, decent length and variety of holes. Par 4 4th is a bear, Par 5 5th is challenging and the Par 3 8th is a great Par 3. Great bunkering and doglegs make this course a challenge. Better than average conditions, but suffers from slow play sometimes.

Very Nice Course for the Money!!, Jun 23, 2004
reviewer: Jamie from Boston, MA
Short 9-hole course, but very well kept. Can't beat it for less than $20 on weekdays. Better golfers may get bored, but great for the beginner/intermediate. Some difficult bunkers and greens. Closest course to the city of Boston, MA.

good value, Jun 07, 2004
reviewer: Dan from arlington, ma
As far as public courses go- Fresh Pond is in great shape. The course is challenging enough for average players. The only catch is its first come first serve for tee times. Can be hard to jump on once in a while.
