These military courses were built on flat terrain and are considered easy to walk. The Gold Course was renovated during the summer of 1996 with new green resurfacing, fairway grass, bunkers and five new ponds. There are only a few trees that can alter your shots. Ed Ault redesigned several holes on the Gold Course in 1979. The Scarlet Course has narrow fairways an well-bunkered greens.

A very easy and short course if you hit it remotely straight. Many options of the tees make it easy to change the way the course plays and allows you to play to your strengths of the day. A tighter course than it's sister the Gold, but not that bad at all. Course can get crowded due to no handicap requirements (i.e. alot of hackers, club rentals, etc). Course not maintained as well as other courses by grounds keepers and players.

"playing golf at raymondville,ny"
golf at raymondville g&cc, is truly an unforgettable experience. the greens are well watered and the bent grass is excellent.there are many challenging holes., the first tee to green is a whopping par 5.with water about 180 yds left.towering trees protect right side, so u must hit a high drive to clear trees. then u have decent chance to get a birdie.7,8 and 9 are long long drives. clubhouse is fantastic

Triggs Memorial Golf Course

Triggs is a good course, a tough layout from the back tees. Donald Ross designed Muni gets a lot of play and is a little rough around the edges, but a great test of golf. Played there for years before I relocated South.

Deep Cliff Golf Course
"DEEP CLIFF TIGHT AND DEMANDING"
Deep Cliff is a short but demanding little layout. It has a great set of par 3 holes ranging from 106 to 199 yards. The par 4's are all interesting and have a good amount of trouble to be found. It is a real risk for reward course. I would advise playing from the blue discs for a true test. If you play from the "daily set" tee boxes you are not being challenged.
