This heavily-wooded, rolling course offers panoramic views of the surrounding hill country. The narrow fairways mimic the terrain, while the small, well-undulating greens add to the tightness of play. Accurate shot placement is essential, due to one huge lake and several creeks coming into play.

I live in Woodmont and I am a 15 year old boy. I love the way the course is asymmertical, like as if the course came before the houses. #15 is the hardest because there is a big drop in between the tee and green, which is a real challenge. Also #14 has a red light/green light system since you can't see the green from the tees. So before you go onto the fairway you push a button that turns the light red so if people come behind you they know someone is on the fairway, since you can't see them. and as you go to the green you push another button that turns the light green letting the next people know it is safe to tee off without hitting anyone. But you have to remember to push the button by the green or the other people behind you will be waiting along time. But overall it is a great course with one lake with a waterfall on the front nine and another lake on the back nine, and creeks running between the two lakes.

The golf course is beautiful. The course plays extremely challenging. You learn strategy is important if you want to make it a rewarding experience. It is one of the more difficult courses around. Robert Trent Jones Jr. gets an A+ for his design. An incredible experience for golfers of all levels.
