This course features tree-lined fairways and severely undulating greens. The head pro says, "These are the best greens in northern New York." In addition, water hazards come into play on ten holes. The signature hole is #6, a 160-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over wetlands to the green. This water hazard is a result of a natural beaver dam. A beaver house is located on this hole, and normally many ducks and geese can also be seen here. There are no slope or course ratings for any of the tees shown. The other tee shown is an additional men's tee.

Best in the county. The course is always in beautiful condition. The staff is fantactic and the professional advise is second to none. Just a great place to be.

Nicely run facility with smooth greens and a well defined layout. Was delighted to see a Great Blue Heron near the first tee on an early summer day. Pretty wide open course with playable rough, medium challenge. Coming from Connecticut this course was a gem (cheap) and not overplayed (good shape)

Riverview is the perfect practice course when you don't have time for 18. It's long enough to be interesting and offers enough challenges to allow practice on all aspects of your game. The course has good greens, challenging sand traps and water hazards you can't see--until its too late. Its also fun to play.

Royal Oak Resort & Golf Club
"More for Less"
Royal Oak is hidden gem. It offers more golf for less money than any other course in the area. This Dick Wilson designed track has elevation changes and terrain not found on many Florida courses. Sadly, it needs an influx of cash to add to its rating. The two biggest problems that I see are the lack of sand in the bunkers and the club house in need of renovation. You will find the course a great value and the staff congenial.

I found Foxwood to be a course that could use some improvements. However, I did enjoy playing this course and the layout. The employees were true pros. The course is shaded with many trees which allows you to hone your placement skills. This course surely is a diamond in the rough.
