The club, built on an old horse farm in rural New York, offers three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. Due to its rural setting, this lush and scenic course has a secluded feel, despite being located only 65 miles north of Manhattan. This is a championship-caliber course that, because of the multiple tees on each hole, can be enjoyed by players of all abilities. Both the Meadows and Lakes courses feature accommodating fairways with plenty of elevation changes and generous, undulating greens. The Fairways Course, with its tree-lined fairways, has a flatter, more conventional Northeastern design. The signature hole, #6, a 386-yard, par 4, is found on the Lakes Course. This hole drops 100 feet from the tee to a generous landing area, which is bunkered on both sides. Following a slight dogleg right, the hole plays to a sloping green framed by mature trees. This is the perfect course for a relaxing round of golf far away from the hustle and bustle the big city. Carts are mandatory on the course.

Scenic, challenging and enjoyable, Jun 01, 2007

With varying slopes, views, and rugged climbs back up to your cart, this course offers everything golf is made to be.....the staff is amazingly friendly and the facility is first rate....a bit pricey, but, that is golf...go, enjoy and be prepared to tell your friends how good this course is...

Indian Springs Golf Club
"Florida Panhandle Gem"
Indian Springs Golf Club in Marianna, florida is a hidden gem. Just golf basics and no fancy club, but friendly atmosphere and staff to go with a really neat golf course. Easy to get to from I-10 and rates are more than competitive. Highly recommend it if traveling through the area. As a former member, I look forward to returning for a relaxing no hassel round.

Woodstock Country Club is one of the tightest and toughest courses in the area. Considering the very small and ungulating green and the tight tree lined fairways. It has many rolling hills and uphill/downhill lies.

Eagle Creek Golf Club
"Nothing Wrong With Eagle Creek"
I have golfed Eagle Creek many times over the past four years. The front nine holes are much different from the back nine. The front nine are wide fairways with very few obstructions and on a windy day, these holes can be as tough as any other holes in golf. Meanwhile, the back nine are just the opposite. The fairways are much more narrow and every hole except hole #13 is engulfed in trees. You must be very careful on the back nine because if you go in the trees you won't be making par on that hole. The wind is not so much a factor on the back nine but that's a plus since there is already so much to worry about. Still, it is a great course. If I had to make one complaint about this course, it is the fact that to just golf one round or even become a member the fees are a little ridiculous. It seems that most of the people who do or would like to golf there are locals and they can't afford to pay those type of fees. But again, that is my only complaint about this course. If I was asked to recommend one course to try, my answer would have to be Eagle Creek Golf Club in Willmar, Minnesota.
