Carnation is a pretty average course. There are several interesting holes scattered in the mix. They do have a large and very good junior program. They are very friendly to kids and let them accompany an adult on the course to play or just go along.

Moist is good, but wear a glove, Mar 30, 2004

The whole course is pretty flat. The front nine is open with some trees but it's hard to get into real trouble. The back nine has a little more character. The snoqualmie river features on several holes. Being from the Pacific Northwest I like to play in wet conditions. There are definite drainage problems at this course. I usually go without a glove but I wished I had one on this day. I kept feeling my shaft slip out of my hands and I made a terrible mess as I approached the hole. All in all a fun course to play, but a little sloppy.
