This hilly course has large grass bunkers on half of the holes. The greens are well manicured, and the narrow fairways are tree lined. There are no water hazards on the course, but there are a few sand bunkers scattered around the course.

Course is being upgraded by new owner and is very enjoyable to play. Course is well maintained and bunkers have been filled with sand. Has a nice resturant with great food. Course is kept in great shape.

"Rancho review"
A medium difficult course with variable slopes,and hill sides with a different lie angle on nearly every shot. Large undulating greens with good speed. The greens are near perfect right now but that doesn't mean they're a push over. Making it one the green is only the start. A challenge.

Rainier Golf & Country Club
"One of the best In Seattle area"
Rainier Golf has everything for the family. Nice greens, beautiful fairways, ponds, and a great crew that takes care of it. It has an older clubhouse with French stying. Ron Proctor the last Superintendent, drove the course into a new direction by rebuiding all of the fairways, adding six to twelve inches of sand, drainage, and training the best crew to care for it. He kept up on new mowers, bringing high quality, cutting edge practices into the day to day maint. of the course. Rainier golf is worth the money. All done through two generations of golf Superintendent know how. Rainier is a links style layout, and challenging for everyone.

"Back In time"
This is one of the great old valley courses. Ancient oaks line the fairways kept to Championship standards. This is a must-play for all golfers in the immediate area. The price is ideal, the employees are pleasant, and the course is challenging and fair.

Spring Creek Country Club
"1 goofy hole"
I like this golf course, but 1 hole make it less than stellar. Number 12 is a ridiculous 90 degree dogleg that takes away from the rest of the course. Speed of play has been exceptional every time I have played, but that 1 idiotic hole ruins ithe backside. I suggest moving up the box and making it a par 3 or redoing it altogether.
