This regulation eighteen hole course is situated in the very picturesque forest area of Mackinaw. There are several mature trees lining the fairways, and water hazards come into play on a few holes. Wildlife is often seen roaming in and around the golf course. The signature hole is #3, a 552-yard, par 5, which features an incredible view of the Mackinaw Bridge, which crosses over Lake Huron and Lake Michigan.

Good Course for the money, Mar 01, 2004

The course has been slow in developing into a 5 star upnorth golf course. But each year the course has matured. The fairways and greens are becoming lushier. I think it is due to lack of funds. The course is very challenging and for the money ($40 ) it is well worth the trip to Mackinaw.

A delightful little 9 hole course with a challenge and terrific scenery. Pleasant staff and facilities, friendly atmosphere. Great pro teacher. And the prices are right. Crowded on weekends (of course) but midweek is fast play.

Manasquan River Golf Club
"What a jewel!"
As described, hilly front 9, blind shots, sidehill lies, fast greens...backside links style, flat but river and ocean breezes can wreak havoc...it has been re-rated and the rough grown to 5 inches...if you can play here, you can play anywhere. Apparently their members have won a number of NJ Amateur championships as well as participated in US Opens...speaks to the challenge of this layout.

Temple Hills Country Club - Deer Crest/Quail Run Course

I have attended this course a numerous of times and really enjoy the atmosphere of the area. The course is always well kept, and I believe it to be one of the best in the area. The twenty seven holes only makes it more enjoyable, by offering a new experience each time out. I was very pleased with the employeers as well. They were very attentive, and right on top of anything may group needed trhoughout the day. I will look into joining as soon as possible.

Rexburg Municipal Golf Course
"Your Basic municipal golf course"
This is a nine hole golf course that is very basic, but is worth your time. Even though the course is flat, with not many trees, it does require you to judge your shots. There is not a huge margin of error, since the highway is on one side and the airport is on another. Good luck.
