This course is long and hilly. It is recommended that players rent a cart, but you can walk. The tree-lined fairways are both wide open and tight. Fairway bunkers and water hazards come into play on many holes. The greens are large and fast and protected with sand bunkers. The signature hole is #4, a 260-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot from an elevated tee over a stream to a green that is surrounded by tall bunkers.

Sleepy Hollow Country Club - Eighteen Hole Course

As a Brit abroad, I was lucky enough to receive a couple of invitations to play here. The whole experience was outstanding, from the service at the club to the course itself. The clubhouse is one of the more impressive around (probably only improved upon by my home course in the UK!). The track itself was in excellent condition and, as with other Tillinghast courses, was a good strategic challenge, although not as 'man-sized' as say Winged Foot West and Bethpage Black. More playable for someone of my ability and therefore perhaps as enjoyable.

Antelope Valley Country Club
"Visitor to Anetlope Valley CC"
Antelope Valley CC golf course is a fun and challenging experience. Wind makes the course play tough in the afternoon. It is realitively flat and provides the abilility to walk with little difficulty. Many challenging holes, several with water, and views of the local desert and Joshua Trees are great. The amenities of the club are first rate. New clubhouse, staff that is freindly and attentive, and quality food and beverages all help to make a great golfing experience.
