Excellent test for your short game and always in great condition. If you get a chance to play with Rick Ackerman, aka "The Silver Fox",Doug Scott has nothing on him.

A must play. Some pin placements will make you cuss. Tee boxes, fairways, everything in great shape. If you can, play with Doug Scott when you're there, although he's been known to cheat.

What a great place to play..The greens make the course..relativily short course but can be a challenge due to the speed and slopes on the greens..Friendly staff..Joann Swearingson manages the club and runs the bar and is as friendly and helpful as anyone could ask for.semi private course that I would highly recommend playing if you are in the Carrollton area

Hyde Park Golf Club
"Wide Open Drive"
Fairly well kept course, the fairways are wide open for the most psrt, so if you lose your new Titlest, its your fault...There are a few water hazards in challengable spots. Bunkers are all easily avoidable. This is actually a challenging course, but one that wont drive you nuts with every stroke. Its also a pretty good course for those who arent, Arnold Palmer. You have to know your game, but it allows for mistakes, without costing you 3 strokes. The trees are beautiful, and the wildlife around the course adds to the experience. Its nice to find a place like this tucked among the city, and tall radio towers, which are right in the middle of the course, between holes nine and ten, which is the primary problem spot for this course. Its priced right, and a good challenge for the money.

Mount Hood Golf Course
"Mount Hood is looking good."
I was surprised at how improved the conditions were at Mount Hood when I played it in the fall of 2003. There are new people running the place and I'd never believe it to be the same course I played a couple years back. One of the guys I played with was the teaching pro which made it fun and enjoyable to go around the course.

Tannehill National Golf Course
"4 stars"
Tannehill National has got to be one of the best courses in the state. The fairways this past summer looked better than a lot of greens I've seen. From the back tees the course is near perfect. It is pretty much wide open but, there is a creek that comes into play on several holes and the strategically placed ponds can make you pay for a bad tee shot. The greens are fast but they hold shots and roll true .You just can't find bermuda greens that stay as consistent as theirs do.

"Nice, playable course"
This is a nice playable course. Not overpowering in length, it is a good fit for both long and short hitters. I played in February and the course was in excellent shape considering the time of year. Greens rolled nice and true. Staff was friendly.
