This course offers two separate looks. The open front nine is links-style and has water coming into play on six holes. The back nine was built in a former gravel quarry and features more elevation change and requires better shotmaking skills. Although the fairways and greens are amply-sized, there are plenty of hazards. Highlighting the layout is the signature hole, #7, a 165-yard, par 3, which features a 70-foot elevation drop off the tee and plays entirely over water. Carts are mandatory on weekends.

Odyssey Golf Course
"Odyssey is a good course"
I REALLY like this course. It is pretty long (which suits my game well), and there are a lot of places you can get yourself in trouble. The greens are tough to speak of...as pin placement can make this course one of the most challenging in the area (pretty serious breaks), or just a nice Sunday afternoon hackin' with the boys (dead-flat) if greenskeepers are being generous. They have GPS in their golf carts, and charge reasonable fees. The course is very-well maintained, with water in play on a bunch of the holes. In my opinion, Odyssey is the best bang for your buck in the area.
