This course's fairways are lined with pine trees. They are generally flat. Creeks and ponds will come into play on fourteen holes. All the greens are protected by sand bunkers. The signature hole is #3, a 198-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a green surrounded by water. There is a separate green fee rate for Fridays. Certain restrictions apply with the nine hole rate.

| fun layout but the greens need work. need to work the ball both ways off the tee. a little overprice because of the greens. have to say service was great. |

| Wet, boggy course. Poor drainage, generally lots of mud spraying everywhere. Good course during drought conditions. Shots can be challenging as many are blind. Second star is for the practice facility, however, which is about the best in Wake County. |
