This course was built on the scenic terrain of Southern Illinois. The front nine has a Scottish links-style feel with open fairways and fast greens. The back nine offers a mountainous feel while traversing past trees and rivers. Although this course does not have a signature hole, every hole offers a unique feel. Carts are not mandatory on this course, but they are included in the green fee whether you walk or ride.

I must say this is a beautifully designed course. The grasses are very well maintained. Having GPS units in the cart is an extra plus. Overall a fine golf experience with the exception of the soft gravel parking lot and individuals working in the pro shop. A litle too pompous. Harden one and soften the other and you will have the premier course in St. Clair county.

This course is definitely the best course in the Metro East area. It is in incredible condition! The only negative would be no woods on the range.

Starting with the gracious and wonderful staff to the perfectly cut grass. This place is second to none. A tight course with varying fairways and sharp greens. The view from every tee box is breath taking! Play this course and feel like you are playing for the Championship everytime. For the price and location, you can't ask for a better experience anywhere. Thanks Far Oaks for making golf so much fun and oh so beautiful!

"Kept in great shape"
The Greeley country club plays difficult because of all the tree's this course has. The Greeley country club is a very kept up course that can be a challenging for any golfer.

Kis-N-Greens Golf Course
"Update"
The course has been expanded to 18 holes, par 72. The fairways are improved over the condition that they were in a year ago. Some greens have been expanded, with more to follow. 400 trees have been added to the course as of 2003. The trees are small but will help distinguish fairways from rough. Water comes into play on 6 holes. No sand, and the tee boxes need work (leveling) maybe some irragation on the fairways (more ponds needed). Overall, satisfied with course, wind makes it more difficult than it looks, and greens are deceiving.

Sand Ridge Golf Club
"Best of Ohio"
Sand Ridge is one of the best golf courses in the country. Even though greens are not all that fast they are always in perfect condition at all times of the year and the fairways are some of the best i have ever played from. The caddie program has some of the best and friendliest caddies in the nation.
