This is an enjoyable nine hole course. The fairways are narrow and some are tree lined. The average-sized greens are fast. Water hazards come into play on eight holes, and the terrain is rolling, yet still easy to walk. The signature hole is #7, a 275-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water while avoiding the out-of-bounds stakes lining the left side of the fairway.

| I am a new member at Cassadaga CC and I love the course & restaurant. The new owners are so accommodating & have really taken care of the course. I have seen so many improvements over the last few years that I just had to become a member. As for the golfing... everyone needs a challenge, so I love it every time I play, but there are definitely alot of water hazzards & if you want to find out the trick on how to play the greens... just ask inside. Definitely check out the restaurant any day of the week... You won't be disappointed! |

| I have played cassadaga hundreds of times- but because of no.8 a par 3, I won;t go back. The hole is a tough uphill shot. Thats not the problem, its the constant condition of the green. The green has a severe slant and is cut so low, that it is IMPOSSIBLE to hold. Putting on it is like a minature golf course. You must rely on luck, not skill which stinks. The greens should be mowed higher, to at least make it fair . But for some reason, the management will not do it. Trust me I am not alone with this concern, I know people who have pulled out of cassadaga leagues because of no.8. Its too bad because the rest of the course is ok. |
